Pangangawit

Why is it that nowadays people care more for the "recording of an event" rather than experiencing it live?

One example is the concept of a live gig. I was once in a barrio in a Cabuyao City, Laguna to watch a live performance of the band Kamikazee. And it was a virus. The non-tiring arms of people not raising for cheers but raising their iphones and others to take a faulty, shaky, low quality video.

That was indeed a site. Worse are those arms that block the view of people who really want to enjoy the performance like me.

In the gig scene there is also a term called "jumping jologs" or people who jump and raise their hands to the beat of a song they like, which sometime include random pushing and hovering at each other. Judgmental people sees them as "not-trendy", "baduy" or "jologs" as the name indicates. Honestly, I don't have anything against them just as long that its just for a clean and a less brutal fun.At least they know how to enjoy the "real" experience of being in a live concert.

As an ending note I would like to commend the intelligence of Filipino Entrepreneurs. Why? Because they fully grasp the concept of "DEMAND". People today care more of gathering proofs that they are doing something by videoing and taking pictures of events they went to. There is a "DEMAND" for it. So, the wise negosyantes thought of a way to benefit from this, further encouraging such practice. I don't want to explain anymore. Just look below:

Nice right? Nuff said.
